24 January 1984 Steve Jobs took to the stage an d introduced the Macintosh, first mass-market personal computer featuring a graphical user interface and mouse. The world would never be the same…

Thirty years later and the Mac lives on in the for of the iMac. Although a slight change in name the iMac is the most recognised personal computer name in the world. Apple have used the term Mac in every one of their computers: Mac Pro, iMac, Mac Mini, Macbook Pro and Macbook Air.

Strangely the original Macintosh wasn’t that popular and didn’t sell very well.
