Today at a media event, Apple announced the long rumoured “iPhone 5s” including a fingerprint sensor called “Touch ID.” The iPhone 5s comes in Silver, Gold, and Space Grey.
The iPhone 5s battery comes with 10 hours of 3G talk time and 250 hours of standby time.
The camera has been updated to capture better pictures by capturing multiple photos and choosing the best one along with a new flash that has two LEDs. One is cool and white, the other is warm and amber. The camera now has a new burst mode which allows you to capture 10 frames per second, to deal with the dozens of photos burst mode creates, it will analyse them in real time so it can present you with what it thinks is the best shot automatically. Another new feature is the Slo-mo option that captures HD video at 720p at 120FPS.
The iPhone 5s includes a fingerprint scanner called “Touch ID.” It can read in any orientation and is built right into the Home button. You can simply touch your home button to unlock your phone. You can also scan your fingerprint to do certain things in apps, like authenticate iTunes for buying apps. Touch ID can handle multiple fingerprints.
