Litha Soyizwapi, an independent iOS developer and designer based in Johannesburg, today released GauRider 1.0, a world-class app that lets you find the next Gautrain and bus times quicker and more elegantly on any of the iOS devices like iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
GauRider is now available on iTunes and is the first universal Gautrain app running on iOS 7, Apple’s latest mobile operating system.
The intuitive drag and drop user interface makes it easy and a pleasure to navigate to any direction. Due to the “Smart Date” feature, the app does not use your data and works even if you are underground or offline.
“I’m really excited to unveil this brand new app. I’ve been working for over a year to ensure that the app is focused, beautiful, has an incredible polish, and it is a stable first release. I can’t wait to get this app to the hands of my fellow GauRiders, so that they can find the Gautrain and bus times quicker and intuitively. As an everyday user of the Gautrain service, I built GauRider for myself and for commuters who care about beauty, simplicity and functionality,” says Litha Soyizwapi, GauRider developer.
GauRider was designed and developed exclusively for iOS 7 and the app feels at home on Apple’s latest OS release. GauRider gives you quick, real time information about the next Gautrain or bus time.
The app answers the question, “What is the next Gautrain or bus time, right now?,” says Litha.
“GauRider is a world-class train and bus time tracking app on iOS and the user interface is a delight to use. Every great app gets better with time and GauRider is no exception. The app’s roadmap has some exciting feature updates coming up in the near future and this includes extending the app to Android operating system in the next while.”
GauRider is available for download today on iTunes for the price of $3.99 or R32.99.
